For Clinicians: Studies have shown that Tai Chi, a martial art that uses slow controlled movement, is beneficial as an adjunct to standard medical treatment for the prevention and rehabilitation of many conditions commonly associated with age, illness, and injury. We will teach you a short form that can be incorporated into your medical practice and how to add billable units.
For Non-Clinicians: If you are a Tai Chi instructor, we can certify you to teach our forms. Or maybe you would just like to offer a fun workshop on a new form for your class. We have several short forms to choose from. Certificates are available with advanced notice.
We will work with you to understand your needs and help you choose a class that’s right for you and your group.
The forms we teach in our workshops have been created by, and are exclusive to, Walden’s Wellness & Fitness.
Two forms, Flowing Water and Serenity, are taught in a one-day workshop and are great forms for beginners and those who have never tried Tai Chi before. They are also forms we recommend for clinical applications.
The other forms are taught in two-day workshops and are appropriate for beginner, intermediate, and advanced Tai Chi practitioners/students.

“I have attended dozens of workshops over the years and this one was clearly the best. Utilizing his extensive background in Tai Chi and the hard Martial Arts, as well as his vast experience in physical therapy, Master Steve Walden artfully crafted superb forms that consist of basic self-defense movements linked by flowing transitions.”
